PREPARATION
Trim a thin layer off the edges of the Etimek pieces, arrange them on an oven tray and warm them up slightly. When the pieces of Etimek are hot, butter both sides and put them back on the tray. Pit the cherries and put them in a pot with sugar and a cup of water. Boil for five minutes and remove from heat. While the cherries are hot, pour them onto the Etimek pieces. Heat up the oven to 170 ºC. Cook the Etimek pieces until they absorb the juice. Use a spatula to move them from the tray to a serving plate. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
